Food Tip: Blanch/Freeze Asparagus Now

It’s time to grab up all that luscious market asparagus.  Just blanch for 30 seconds in boiling water, then dry on towel and it’s ready to freeze.  We use a food saver but asparagus can be frozen in freezer bags.  We had delicious sautéed in butter asparagus all winter.  Also made soup!
